Ljubljani ima dolgo zgodovinsko tradicijo. Bila je ustanovljena leta 1919 v
Ljubljani, glavnem mestu Republike Slovenije. Univerza v Ljubljani, ki je bila skoraj pol stoletja edina slovenska
univerza, se je pred približno 20 leti povezala z univerzo v Mariboru in
nedavno z univerzo na slovenski obali. Univerza slovi po kakovostnem izobraževanju na humanističnem, znanstveno-tehničnem,
medicinskem in drugih znanstvenih področjih. Mednarodna dejavnost Univerze v
Ljubljani je usmerjena na znanstveno in raziskovalno sodelovanje z drugimi

Description (Opis): The University of
Ljubljana is an institution with a very rich tradition. It was established in
1919 on the foundations of a long-established pedagogical tradition. The
university was founded in the centre of Ljubljana, the capital of Republic Slovenia.
For almost half a century it remained the only Slovenian university until it
was joined, about 20 years ago, by the University of Maribor and recently by
the third Slovenian University on the coast of Slovenia. The University of Ljubljana is famous for the quality of
its study courses both in the humanities, and in scientific and technological
fields, as well as in medicine, dentistry and veterinary science. On a
domestic and international level, the study courses run at the University of
Ljubljana and its projects follow the latest world discoveries and trends in
the field of art, science and technology, to which the contribution of
numerous Slovenian professors and researchers is of great importance. [Record:
