strežnik KidsClick! je izid strokovnega dela skupine knjižničarjev.
Namen strežnika: usmerjati
mlade uporabnike na njim ustrezne in kakovostne strežnike za www v internetu.
KidsClick ni internetni filter, lahko pa se koristi skupaj s filtrom (glej seznam
URL). Področja katalogiziranih virov so: dejstva/tekoči dogodki
(enciklopedije, novice, počitnice, slovarji...), družbene vede, književnost, geografija/zgodovina, računalništvo in
internet, verstvo (religija) in mitologija, šport in rekreacija, umetnost (glasba, muzeji...),
zdravje (medicina...), znanost in matematika
(matematika, okolje, vesolje, živali...) in druga. Vire iščemo ali

Description
(Opis): The server KidsClick is the result of the professional librarians
work.The site purpose: to direct the
youth to corresponding quality sites on the www. The catalogized subjects are:
facts/events (encyclopedias, news, dictionaries), social sciences, literature,
geography, history, computer and internet, religion, references works, sport,
education, art, health, and much more. You can search or browse the subjects.

(Description):
izobraževalni strežnik za mlade in manj mlade. Slikovni slovar vsebuje več
kot 2,497 slikovnih zapisov. Slike so povezave na igre in zgodbe, na stotine
dejavnosti, živali in muzeje ter na druge izobraževalne strežnike. Slikovni
slovar mladim in manj mladim olajša in poenostavi dostop do številnih
ustreznih skrbno izbranih povezav na vire. Ker so slike povezave na vire,
je slikovni slovar dobrodošel že za predšolske otroke ob pomoči odraslih.
Pregledovanje slikovnega slovarja: kliknite na ustrezno črko na začetku
slovarja. Zanimivi
so opisi in slike ptic, metuljev itd. Skratka, učenje je zabavno. Spoznavamo
Afriko, Antarktiko (zanimivi so npr. pingvini) in druge celine, njihove značilnosti
in živalski svet. Posamezne celine so predstavljene z zemljevidi in opisi.
Seznam držav je na voljo pod povezavama [Country Listing] [Factbook Home Page].
Informacije o posamezni državi (tudi o Sloveniji): geografske, prebivalstvo,
vlada, gospodarstvo, komunikacije, transport itd. V multimedijskem arhivu so na
voljo viri za afriške študije, s slikami (v formatu .gif) Afrike in zastav;

School] je učilnica online, s številnimi povezavami na mesečne teme

Description
(Opis): The English picture dictionary contains more than 2,497 picture
records. The pictures are links to gaims and stories, animals and museums, and
other educational sites. The learning can be fun! To browse through the dictionary, click on a letter in the alphabet at the
top of the window and you'll see a page of words that start with that letter.2,497 illustrated dictionary entries! Each word is used in a meaningful
example sentence. Most entries have links to a related web site. Just click on an underlined word (or its accompanying picture), and you'll link to a
related page. The LITTLE EXPLORERSTM picture dictionary makes surfing the Internet very easy. A picture-dictionary format is used to link to hundreds
of carefully-chosen child-friendly sites around the world. Since the pictures are links, even pre-readers can surf with a minimum of help and guidance
from their favorite adult. Older kids can use Little Explorers as a school reference.

Opis (Description): strežnik je namenjen diskusijam
in študijam o sedanjosti prihodnosti mladih. Vključuje tri forume: 1) "Sestanek" za
izmenjevanje idej o pomembnih svetovnih vidikih, zlasti o njihovih vplivih na
otroke. 2) "Učilnico" za izvajanje dejavnosti in reševanje
problemov. Šole oz. skupine delujejo na globalnih interaktivnih učnih
projektih. Skupine mladih, z različnih lokacij po svetu, bodo delovale na
skupnih dejavnostih. 3) "Zbornico", kjer se učitelji (in drugi)
pogovarjajo o globalnem distribuiranem izobraževanju in izmenjujejo izkušnje
